プレスラー90歳記念コンサート・アット・パリ / メナヘム・プレスラー(Pf)、パーヴォ・ヤルヴィ(指揮)/パリ管弦楽団
1923年生まれの巨匠ピアニスト、メナヘム・プレスラー。ボザール・トリオの創設メンバーとして長きに渡り活躍し、2008年解散後から精力的にソリストとして世界各地でコンサートを行っています。2014年に来日し、庄司紗矢香と行ったデュオ・リサイタルでは、慈悲深い演奏で静かな感動が会場に広がりました。この映像は、2012年と2014年にパリのサル・プレイエルで行われた、パーヴォ・ヤルヴィ指揮パリ管弦楽団とのモーツァルト: ピアノ協奏曲のコンサートの模様。第27番はまもなく89歳を迎えようとしていた2012年10月、パリ管定期演奏会での収録。モーツァルト最後の協奏曲である本作品は、崇高な美しさを持った名曲として親しまれています。プレスラーは作為的なものがまるで感じられない穏やかな演奏で、詩的で味わい深く聴かせてくれます。またアンコールのドビュッシーの『月の光』も、繊細さと抒情性に溢れる、聴く者の心の深淵に響く演奏です。そして90歳の誕生日を祝う記念コンサートで演奏された第23番。この作品でなんといっても美しいのが第2楽章。凛としたピアノ・ソロではじまり、それを引き継ぐ木管群の哀愁漂う旋律。プレスラーの崇高な音楽がモーツァルト特有の天衣無縫な美しさを十二分に表現しています。輸入盤・日本語帯・解説付。
