Description

[Machine Translation] A 17-year-old girl writes from her heart! A dangerous and beautiful glimmer of naive adolescence... A gem of a coming-of-age film from Susumu Hani, the genius director of "Hatsukoi Jigokuhen" (First Love in Hell)! Following the success of "The Fairy's Poem" (a French-Japanese co-production), Susumu Hani has teamed up with ATG to make this film, which gives the impression of being somewhat different from conventional "filmmaking". Susumu Hani's deep love for adolescent people has crystallized in the visual world of his masterpieces "Bad Boys" and "First Love in Hell. In this film, he experiments with a new kind of filmmaking by giving an 8mm camera to two 17-year-old high school students, who shoot each other and shoot what they want to shoot. Incidentally, Ako Kunikida, who played Soko, one of the main characters, is the great-grandson of Kunikida Doppo, a great writer of the Meiji era. Reiko returns to Tokyo with a package belonging to her best friend Kusako, who died on a trip. Her classmate Shimomura senses that there is something hidden behind Reiko's eyes. What happened between them? How did Kusako die? What does Shimomura see when he turns the 8mm film that Kusako and Reiko had taken on their trip...?
