Mike's Dodge Charger is a 938-DAN, the same as the one in "Dirty Mary Crazy Rally," and the car driven by the Tennessee girls is a "Vanishing Van" with the same rubber duck emblem as the Mustang in Sam Peckinpah's "Convoy" ( 78 ). The women in Tennessee drive the same Dodge Challenger as in "Vanishing Point" and the same Mustang as in H.B. Halicki's "Vanishing in 60'" ('74), etc. The entire film is littered with Tarantino's favorite '70s movies. --A small town in Texas.
