[Machine Translation] Light Mellow" (Japanese Mono) CD series of 70s and 80s City Pop and J-AOR, supervised by Hisakazu Kanazawa, author of the disc guide "Light Mellow Japanese Mono Special". BUZZ (Hiroshi Koide <Key./Vo.> and Masakazu Togo <G./Vo.>) debuted in 1972 with the single "Ken and Mary: Love and the Wind". They had been friends with brothers Nobuyuki Takahashi and Yukihiro Takahashi since their amateur days, and for a while after their debut, the four of them wrote songs together. ディスクガイド「Light Mellow 和モノ Special」の著者・金澤寿和監修による70、80年代シティ・ポップ、J-AORの「Light Mellow」(和モノ)CDシリーズ。 BUZZ (小出博志＜Key./Vo.＞と東郷昌和＜G./Vo.＞ ) は1972年シングル「ケンとメリー～愛と風のように～」でデビュー。高橋信之、高橋幸宏兄弟とアマチュア時代から親交があり、デビューから暫くは4人で曲作りをしていた。自然にシティ・ポップ周辺のアーティスト、ミュージシャンとのレコーディングでのコラボも多く、ユーミン、山下達郎、高中正義、小原礼、伊藤銀次、芳野藤丸他と都会的なポップスを作り上げてきた。そんなシティ・ポップのエッセンスの詰まった曲を収録したベスト・セレクション盤。
