This was recorded on Haruomi Hosono's TEAC 4-track reel-to-reel tape recorder at 15 inches per second (fastest speed that tape deck was capable of). Putting a recording of this quality on a UHQCD is like putting a 78rpm lacquer recording of Harry James Big Band on a UHQCD. It adds nothing to the quality of the sound, since the original recording is the limiting factor. It has been priced at Y1700, which makes sense, since the sound is no better than an ordinary CD of these same tracks. If you can find the "priced down mini LP" version of this on CD, buy that instead. It will sound exactly the same as this, and will cost you less money.
