愛唱歌や童謡等の代表曲を取り上げ、それ歴史と世界的広がりを音と文字で徹底的に掘り下げる企画"すべて"シリーズ。日本が生んだ初の天才作曲家、瀧廉太郎の没100年記念企画。彼の最高傑作であり、かつ日本を代表する不朽の名作として世界に知られる「荒城の月」の、全貌を明らかにする初のオリジナル企画。藤原義江、三橋美智也、諏訪根自子 (Vn)、フォイヤマン (Vc)、モイーズ (Fl)、宮城道雄 (胡弓)など名唱名演の数々。全40貢解説書付き。表の題字は故筑紫哲也 (竹田市にある瀧廉太郎記念館の名誉館長。瀧廉太郎は筑紫哲也の祖母の兄にあたる)。
