Nothing can compare to the level of story-telling done by Yoshiyuki Tomino, and accompanying this wonderful TV series, later trilogy of movies, is a soundtrack unrivaled by even the best movies on the market. The symphonic melodies so familiar to fans of the TV series are heard, but are now redone in such a way that listening to the soundtrack alone gives you those same goosebumps you felt when you first heard the word 'Newtypes' and saw the Gundam and Zeong fight on A Boao Qu. I've purchased nearly every available first Gundam soundtrack, and this one is beyond anything else available. If you're looking for the music that made this series great, or just looking for some heart-wrenching, and yet still human musical scores, then these are the CDs for you.
