Description

Tatsushi Omori's film, "Sayonara Keikoku (The Ravine of Goodbye)," the winner of the Special Jury Prize at Moscow International Film Festival in 2013, comes out on DVD. It is based on the novel written by Shuichi Yoshida ("Villain"), and Yoko Maki plays the leading role. Plot: In a verdant valley, a boy child is killed, and his mother is arrested as a prime suspect. Through investigation, the police learn that the mother is involved in a romantic relationship with her next-door man, Shunsuke Ozaki. Ozaki's wife, Kanako has informed the police of this information. Meanwhile, a magazine reporter, Watanabe covers the story of this murder case and discovers the shocking fact that Ozaki was involved in a rape case 15 years ago, and the victim of the case is his wife, Kanako... *Rated 15-and-over.
