I remember falling in love with this soundtrack when I first played this game many many years ago on the SNES. Unfortunately, it never got a proper release except for low-quality MP3 rips that fans have made for download over the years. But now everyone can throw those discs away, for the real thing has finally come! This soundtrack is almost flawless. Certain tracks seem to sound as if they were recorded as the actual game were played (IE: you can hear certain sound effects in the background etc.), but this happened on the Rockman X1~6 boxset too. It doesn't distract you from the great music, and I am extremely grateful Capcom came to their senses and finally released this great soundtrack!
