TVドラマでは異例の総製作費10億円を投入したドラマ『大魔神カノン』のDVD、第12巻!! 繊細なドラマと、スペクタクルな映像を融合させたハートフルファンタジー! プロデューサーは『仮面ライダークウガ』など平成ライダーシリーズの生みの親、高寺重徳。主人公のカノン役は、1000人を超えるオーディションの中から選ばれた、里久鳴祐果。他にも迫力のCGや音楽などを担当する豪華スタッフ陣が作り上げた現代版『大魔神』! ――山形の田舎町から東京に上京してきたひとりの女性・巫崎カノン。幼い頃から「人と人は信じ合える」と思ってきた彼女は、東京で人に裏切られ人を信じることができなくなってしまう。そして、愛していた歌までも、元彼に奪われてしまうのだった。そんな頃、街には「人に恨みを持つ人間」が転生した悪霊・イパダダが、蠢き始めていた。悪霊の存在に気付いた「オンバケ」と呼ばれる妖怪たちは、イパダダ退治のために、今は岩となっているオンバケの中でもひときわ大きなオンバケ"ブジンサマ"に甦ってもらおうと考え、ブジンサマを呼びおこす「いのりうた」を知る女性を探し始めた。現代において、その歌を知る女性、それが、カノンだった・・・。第25話、第26話を収録。 ■カノンとオンバケのヒミツのつぶやきカード封入。 ※第22話(総集編)はDVDには収録されません。Blu-rayのみに収録されます。
