Lupin the IIIrd the Movie: The Immortal Bloodline [Limited Edition]

The first 2D theatrical animated feature in approximately 30 years, "LUPIN THE IIIRD THE MOVIE: Fujimi no Ketsuzoku (The Immortal Bloodline)", is released on DVD. The story is set on a mysterious island not found on any map. What awaited Lupin and his crew, who headed there in search of treasure, was an unidentified presence known as the "Immortal Bloodline". Depicted on an unprecedented scale and with intense drama, this ultimate story can be considered the origin that connects to all of "Lupin the Third". The original work is by Monkey Punch. The director is Takeshi Koike, who has directed all titles in the "LUPIN THE IIIRD" series and is highly acclaimed both in Japan and overseas for his stylish direction. Familiar regular voice cast members including Kanichi Kurita, Akio Otsuka, Daisuke Namikawa, Miyuki Sawashiro, and Koichi Yamadera reunite. Guest voice actors include Ainosuke Kataoka, Aoi Morikawa, and Kuki Kaidan. In addition, the theme song is a newly written song by B'z titled "The IIIRD Eye". Lupin the Third and his companions head toward the Bermuda waters, aiming for a "mysterious island" that does not exist on any world map. Their objective is to uncover the identity of the mastermind who has continued to send assassins after them, and to expose the enormous hidden treasure. However, the moment they approach the island, their aircraft is shot down by a sniper, and they make an emergency landing on the island of death. What spreads before them is a scene like the end of the world, with decayed weapons and nuclear missiles piled up like mountains, and human "garbage", people once used as weapons and discarded, wandering about. The fog-covered island is filled with poison that brings death within 24 hours, leaving no escape. The ruler of the island, Muomu, proclaims eternal youth and immortality and seeks to rule the world through selection and elimination. Facing an "undying enemy" against whom neither guns nor swords are effective, Lupin challenges a battle of wits, wagering his past, his pride, and his resolve as a thief. Will Lupin be able to steal everything and escape the island alive within 24 hours? The limited edition is a two-disc set and also includes "LUPIN THE IIIRD Zenigata and the Two Lupins", a hard action title depicting Inspector Zenigata confronting a mysterious fake Lupin. The limited edition includes a Special Disc, "LUPIN THE IIIRD Zenigata and the Two Lupins" (approx. 54 min) and bonus videos, PV, character PV, SPED footage, and a watch party. Limited edition bonuses also include a slipcase box newly illustrated by Takeshi Koike, and large-volume setting materials collections for both "LUPIN THE IIIRD THE MOVIE: Fujimi no Ketsuzoku (The Immortal Bloodline)" and "LUPIN THE IIIRD Zenigata and the Two Lupins".
