Description

Written and directed by Stephen King, based on his short story. Actually this was King's directorial debut and remains so far the only feature he has helmed himself. King himself was quoted saying he set out to make a "junk" picture, and while it may not be too complimenting to say that he succeeded... he did succeed in making one. With AC/DC's rockin' tune in the background, a group of people in a truck-stop diner headed by Emilio Estevez battle trucks and semis under the control of invading aliens. While it may lack the potential for cult status, it's got some genuinely funny moments (I presume intentionally but I may be wrong), and as King intended, it goes well with junk food. So get your bags of Cheetos and Twinkies, and...
