[Machine Translation] This is the first album in six years by TOKU, the only singer and flugelhorn player in Japan. This album is a tribute to Miles Davis, whose 100th anniversary is this year, as well as to his close friends Roy Hargrove and Osamu Suzuki, and features songs by Roy and Suzuki, mainly from Miles' repertoire, along with TOKU's original compositions dedicated to them. The trio of musicians is Akira Ishii (p), Hideaki Kanazawa (b), and Shun Ishiwaka (ds), a.k.a. "The Boys," with participation by Yosuke Konuma (g), Akihiro Yoshimoto (sax), James Macaulay (tb), Chloe Kibble (vo), and others, depending on the song. This is the first straight-ahead jazz album in a long time. Liner notes/booklet enclosed.
