Based on the last screenplay written by the late great Akira Kurosawa, the film stars some of Japan's most acclaimed actors, including Misa Shimizu, Masatoshi Nagase, Nagiko Tono, Hidetaka Yoshioka, et al. The story is about the women who work at a brothel under a strict rule "not to fall in love with customers."
