This release captures the second night at Nakano Sun Plaza, which carries a completely different mood than the video-recorded previous night. The musicians have completely shed any stage tension, delivering a powerful set rich with free-form improvisation. “The Talking Drum” is pushed to a primal frenzy here, featuring exceptionally aggressive solos from Fripp. Sourced from the original DAT tape, the audio sounds pristine, perfectly capturing the venue's acoustics and Pat Mastelotto's intricate percussion.
