1970年、本国イギリスは勿論、ヨーロッパでの成功を収めたピンク・フロイドは、彼らの代表作の一つである『Atom Heart Mother』を完成させると同時にリリース前からプロモーションを兼ねた＜Atom Heart Mother World Tour＞をスタートさせる。そのツアーの中で同年11月28日のドイツのザールブリュッケンでのコンサートの模様は地元のラジオ局での放送の為にライヴ・レコーディングされる。今回放送時に使用されたマスター・テープの発見に伴い、本作にて遂にリリースされる (放送時間の関係でセット・リストから4曲が割愛)。リリース直後の名曲「Atom Heart Mother」のバンドのみのバージョンや、未発表大作「Libest Spacement Monitor」をも披露している。ピンク・フロイドがサイケデリック・ロック・バンドからプログレッシヴ・ロック・バンドへと変貌を遂げる瞬間が体感できる素晴らしいアーカイヴが遂にCDとして登場! 輸入盤国内仕様。
