出世作となる1987年のアルバム『Keeper Of The Seven Keys Part 1』で聴かせるアイアン・メイデンを彷彿させるツイン・リード・ギターとドラマチックな曲展開、そしてマイケル・キスクのハイ・トーン・ヴォーカルはヨーロッパと日本では強い支持を獲得、その勢いをもってイギリス～アメリカへと進出を果たす。続く『Keeper Of The Seven Keys Part 2』ではその完成度が高まり、ジャーマン・メタル・ムーヴメントを世界的なものへと押し上げる。しかしながらバンドの中心メンバーであったカイ・ハンセンが脱退、新たにローランド・グラポウを迎え新作『Pink Bubbles Go Ape』を完成させるが契約上のトラブルからリリースは遅れて1991年末にようやくリリース、そして翌1992年にヨーロッパ～日本でのコンサート・ツアーを実施。その中で5月14日のケルンでのコンサートはラジオ局WDRの番組として収録・放送される。本作はこの放送時の音源によるライヴ・アルバム。 輸入盤国内仕様。
