[Machine Translation] The long-awaited latest work by multi-instrumentalist S. Carey, who also serves as the drummer for Bon Evere! This third album in four years was self-produced and engineered and co-produced by Zach Hanson and Chris Messina. Recorded primarily at April Bass in Fall Creek, Wisconsin, the album features Gordy on backing vocals on three songs, and Casey Hubair of Sufian Stevens fame also contributes to the songwriting. String arrangements were still by Rob Moose of Bon Iver and Sufian Stevens, and art direction and photography were done by Cameron Wittig. The band has put together a small, focused instrumental composition of mainly guitars, synths, pedal steel, strings, drums, and percussion, with his soft vocals at the center of it, more clearly front and center than ever. ボン・イヴェールのドラマーとしても活躍するマルチ・インストゥルメンタリスト、S. キャリー待望の最新作! 4年ぶりの3作目となる本作はセルフ・プロデュースで、エンジニアと共同プロデュースにザック・ハンソンとクリス・メッシーナを迎えて制作。レコーディングは主にウィスコンシンのフォール・クリークにあるエイプリル・ベースで行われ、3曲のバック・ヴォーカルにゴーディが参加、スフィアン・スティーヴンスのケイシー・フベアも楽曲制作に名を連ねている。まだストリングスのアレンジはボン・イヴェールやスフィアン・スティーヴンスのロブ・ムースが手がけ、アート・ディレクションと撮影はキャメロン・ウィッティヒが行った。ギター、シンセ、ペダル・スティール、ストリングス、ドラム、パーカッションをメインに小規模で集中した楽器の構成を組んでおり、彼の柔らかなヴォーカルがその中心に据えられ、これまでになくはっきりと前面に打ち出されている。メッセージは"シンプルさの中にある美"。
