ブラジリアン・テイストなオリジナル曲を中心に独自のオーガニック・ポップスを展開している「沖縄のサウダージ・ヴォイス」比屋定篤子、デビュー10周年記念となる通算6作目のリーダーALBUMは、初のセルフ・プロデュース。本人も出演している徳里産業(ハウジング会社)のテレビ&ラジオCM曲「スマイル」(沖縄で2006年より長期オンエア中)をはじめ、Saigenji、笹子重治(Choro Club)との共作を含むオリジナル曲では、ラヴ・ソングや沖縄の風景に根ざした曲のみならず、母親としての日常から生まれたファミリー・ソングや、沖縄の悲しい歴史を素材にした曲まで、作詞面の新境地を開拓。さらに今回、リーダー作では初めて、洋邦のフェイヴァリット・アーティストや影響を受けたアーティストの作品を3曲カヴァーし、日本語、英語、ポルトガル語でレコーディング。10年のキャリアを総括し、次のステップに向かうマイルストーンとなる作品。
