Urasawa Naoki no Manben Furuya Usamaru

[Machine Translation] Japanese "manga" has a passionate fan base around the world. Until now, the method by which cartoonists create their dramas on white paper has been a secret from the world of manga. Furthermore, it is said that there is no set method for manga, and that each manga artist has created his or her own completely different method. This program takes a close look at the workplaces of these cartoonists, which are usually off-limits to the public. Using the latest equipment, the program documents the moment of "manga birth. Naoki Urasawa, one of Japan's leading manga artists, will then delve into the secrets of each artist's creation from the perspective of a fellow manga artist. --The manga genius "Usamaru Furuya" makes an appearance! Furuya made his impressive debut in "Manga Garo" in 1994. His representative works are "Palepoli," "Suicide Circle," and "Raichi Hikari Club. His works, which depict strong satire and the dark side of human nature, are drawn in an original style that has won him enthusiastic support. This time, we caught up with him on the set of his two serialized works, "Teiichi no Kuni" and "I Want to Be Killed by a High School Girl". He freely uses a variety of tools and techniques. The film shows the struggles of the filmmakers to create a screen image that will surprise readers through repeated "experiments" and "discoveries". Booklet and bookmarks (one for each volume, with a different design for each title) are enclosed.
