Mitsuya Seizaemon Zanjitsuroku Ano Hi no Koe

[Machine Translation] Kinya Kitaoji stars in the long-awaited sixth installment of the popular original period drama series! The world of Shuhei Fujisawa's hard-boiled masterpiece "Yakuzaemon" and "The Last Days of Sanya Seizaemon" are fused together! --Seizaemon is leading a peaceful life, feeling the joy of his grandchildren's growth. One day, he sees a farmer interrupting the funeral procession heading for the cemetery and committing an act of violence. The peasant was Akamatsu Tohei, who had quit the samurai profession 20 years earlier after failing to appeal directly to the lord for something in front of Seizaemon. He also learned that the corpse in the funeral procession was Akamatsu's own son, who had been adopted by Ozeki Suketayu and had been slain in an incident that had taken place in the castle a few days earlier. Seizaemon becomes suspicious that the case is being put away in an unnatural manner, and just as he begins to investigate the connection to the incident 20 years ago, a new tragedy occurs... Seizaemon, enraged by the absurd chain of deaths, scrambles to uncover the source of the evil with the help of his ally Kumata Saeki and a young swordsman named Inahachiro Tsurutani, who is also a childhood friend of his son's wife, Satoe. Eventually, the true nature of the darkness is revealed. The sun lingers and the coma is still far away..." (Japanese only)
