[Machine Translation] Riding on the winds of the Alps, Heidi is here to bring you true happiness! Heidi, the immortal masterpiece loved all over the world, has been made into a live-action 21st century version by the home country of Heidi, Switzerland! --Heidi (Anouk Steffen) is sent to live with her father (Bruno Ganz) in the mountains of the Alps, and soon finds herself in the company of the gruff, unsociable, but truly gentle Heidi. She makes a friend, Peter ( Quinlin Agrippi ), a goat-herder who lives nearby, and Heidi is enjoying her time in the Alps. Suddenly, however, Heidi is summoned to the city to talk to Clara ( Isabelle Ottmann ), a rich young lady living in Frankfurt. Clara is in a wheelchair, but the cheerful and honest Heidi encourages her and she regains her strength. Heidi's teacher, Mrs. Rottenmeyer ( Katharina Schuttler ), is strict with Heidi's manners, but Heidi also meets kind people such as Sebastian ( Peter Lohmeyer ), the butler, and Clara's grandmother ( Hannelore Hoger ). Heidi's friendship with Clara deepens, but at the same time, she is strongly drawn to the idea of returning to the Alps, where her grandfather is waiting for her. Then, in the middle of the night, a ghost walks around the house, causing a commotion.

アルプスの風に乗って、ハイジが〈本当の幸せ〉を届けにやってきた! 世界中で愛され続けている不朽の名作を、本国スイスが21世紀版ハイジとして実写映画化! ――アルプスの山に暮らすアルムおんじ(ブルーノ・ガンツ)のもとに預けられたハイジ(アヌーク・シュテフェン)は、ガンコで無愛想だが、本当はやさしいおんじとすぐに打ち解ける。近くに住むヤギ飼いのペーター(クインリン・アグリッピ)という友達もできて、ハイジはアルプスでの日々を心から楽しんでいた。ところがハイジは突然、フランクフルトに住むお金持ちのお嬢様クララ(イザベル・オットマン)の話し相手として、都会へ呼ばれることになる。足の悪いクララは車いす生活を送っていたが、明るく素直なハイジに励まされ、元気を取り戻していく。教育係のロッテンマイヤーさん(カタリーナ・シュットラー)から、お行儀を厳しくしつけられるハイジだが、執事のセバスチャン(ペーター・ローマイヤー)やクララのおばあさま(ハンネローレ・ホーガー)など優しい人たちとも出会うことが出来た。ハイジはクララとの友情を深めていくが、一方でおんじの待つアルプスへ帰りたいという想いに強く引き付けられていく。そんな時、夜中に幽霊がお屋敷中を歩き回るという騒動が持ち上がる──。
