Description

[Machine Translation] This is the first album by percussionist Hitomi Aikawa. The album features original compositions by Masaki Hayashi (pf), Hiroshi Suzuki (sax, cl), Megumi Hattori (vib), and Eri Uenoyama (pf), and is full of variety. The worldview of this piece is like a picture book, with solo percussion instruments used to turn the pages, and a sound that evokes a scene in the main part of the piece. The music is not too much confined to the concept of rhythm instruments, but has a strong melody line, so you can enjoy a nostalgic feeling throughout the entire piece. This is a piece created with percussion, an instrument with unlimited and endless possibilities, and the best sounds of the splendid guests.
