[Machine Translation] DJ Mahotsukai. That's not Daisuke Nishijima. It's Shuta Hasunuma. Alter Ego, DJ Mahotsukai, by manga artist Daisuke Nishijima, has released his first EP as the second release on Window Window, a label born from a podcast program presided over by Shuta Hasunuma. The title track is a piano performance by Mahotsukai of his own composition, which has a beautiful melody that attracts even recent post-classical fans. The album also features a version of the same song by detune. (a pop version with a detune-like finish and Takuro Go's vocals), a Metaltronica mix with a sense of speed and electronica reminiscent of elepop by Takuro Go (who has changed the song from a suite to a single piece, thus making it a "suite-like" mix), and a suzukiiiii mix at Kyoto's METRO. The album also includes a slightly jazzy and noisy live version featuring Logic Kakimoto a.k.a. mochilon (B ) of Sangeneko Homeless, and Takushi Ito (Dr.) of CHAINS. The album is a work with enough content to make DJ Mahotsukai's musical talent and potential known to the world. The album was mixed and mastered by Shuta Ishizuka, a member of detune. and also a member of Hasunuma Shuta's team, Phil. The album also includes liner notes by Hasunuma Shuta. The jacket illustration is by Daisuke Nishijima himself.

DJ まほうつかい。それは西島大介じゃない。蓮沼執太。マンガ家の西島大介によるアルター・エゴ、DJ まほうつかいが、蓮沼執太が主宰するポッドキャスト番組から 生まれたレーベル、ウインドアンドウインドウズのリリース第二弾として、初のEP作品をリリース。ヘヴィ・メタルをエレクトロニカの文法で再構築した『Metaltronica』から約2年振りとなる新作は、昨今のポスト・クラシカル・ファンをも魅了する美しい旋律が印象的な自作曲の自身によるピアノ演奏をタイトル・トラックとして、同曲のdetune. による再構築ヴァージョン (一聴して detune. なポップな仕上がりで、郷拓郎のヴォーカルもフィーチャー)、(収録曲、組曲形式から一曲に戻したので「組曲風な」をトル)自身によるエレポップを想起させるエレクトロニカかつ疾走感のあるMetaltronica mix、京都METROでのsuzukiiiiiiiiii x youpy、三毛猫ホームレスの柿本論理 a.k.a. mochilon (B)、CHAINS の伊藤拓史 (Dr)が参加したちょっとジャジーでノイジーなライヴ・ヴァージョンという計4 曲を収録。DJまほうつかいの音楽的な才能や可能性を世に知らしめるのに十分な内容の作品となっている。ミックスおよびマスタリングはdetune. のメンバーであり、蓮沼執太チーム、フィルのメンバーとしても活躍する石塚周太が担当。蓮沼執太による入魂のライナーノーツも掲載。ジャケット・イラストは勿論、西島大介自身が担当。
