新体制壊れかけ、次の10年の門出となるニューシングル発売! 今作『FRAGILE E.P.』は新体制壊れかけのテープレコーダーズの待望の初音源である。収録の3曲はいずれも昨年新体制になってから作られた楽曲。録音とミックスを小森清貴(vo、gu)自らが手がけ、初心を取り戻すかのようなDIY精神で製作された。荒い音の質感に込められた忘れることなき初期衝動と、年月を経たからこその深みは、かつてのいずれの作品とも異なる。マスタリングには彼らの1stアルバム『聴こえる』のレコーディングエンジニアを手がけた狩生健志(YAKEN STUDIO、俺はこんなもんじゃない)、ジャケットデザインにはかつてドラムス高橋が在籍したバンド「Far France」のフロントマンであった英真也(SUSAVI)、旧知の縁の古い盟友達を起用した。表題にもある「フラジャイル」とは「脆さ、壊れやすさ」を意味する。それはつまり壊れかけのテープレコーダーズという名そのものを現すことばである。次の10年へ向けての、新たなバンドの門出となる作品がここに完成した。
