"Boku to Tsuri Nikki" is a full-fledged fishing game that combines "exploration" to search out where fish are hiding with "rod action." By researching your target fish in the encyclopedia, gathering the best equipment, and casting your rod toward a chosen point, you can enjoy excitement close to an actual fishing experience. To recreate a preparation process equivalent to real fishing, the game features rods and bait variations compatible with more than 100 kinds of freshwater fish. In addition to bobber fishing and lure fishing, you can also enjoy stream fishing. Fish you catch are recorded as gyotaku (fish rubbings), letting you look back on your catches in detail. Aim for bigger catches, break your records, and go for the gold medal. Through a scenario that progresses as you catch fish, players take on an adventure to restore color to 8 fishing spots.
