Darkadelic + Not Like Everybody Else

The latest two works from punk rock legends The Damned are released as a coupled item! Their 12th album from 2023, "Darkadelic," and their 2026 covers collection "Not Like Everybody Else" are both essential works for punk fans! "Darkadelic" further expands their distinctive musical world and combines punk's early impulse with mature songwriting. Captain Sensible's sharp guitar and Vanian's eerily growling vocals stand out, and the album is a masterpiece with a cross-genre approach throughout, interweaving 1960s London culture and horror-inspired imagery. "Not Like Everybody Else," a tribute work to original guitarist Brian James, who passed away on March 6, 2025, is a covers collection that traces Brian's musical roots, with songs by artists such as Pink Floyd, The Animals, and The Rolling Stones brilliantly colored in The Damned's style. It is an excellent tribute work that also uses Brian's live recordings from his lifetime. A Japanese booklet is included. Comes with Japanese translations of the lyrics for "Darkadelic."

The Animals、The Rolling Stonesといったアーティストたちの楽曲が、見事にThe Damned色に染められている。
