[Machine Translation] Born in northern Spain to a musical family, pianist Antonio Gamasa has been nominated for the Spanish Academy of Music, Arts and Sciences Award and Best Arranger. Although based in jazz, he has worked in London, New York, and Spain, and has composed music for voice-over performances with voice actors Masako Nozawa, Michio Hazama, and Koichi Yamadera, etc. This album was recorded by Sou Kyuhashi with members Akira Horikoshi on drums and Todd Nicholson on bass. The album features a wide range of music, including the aggressive "Espagnoleando," reminiscent of the Chick Corea Electric Band, Toru Takemitsu's "AIR," and the voice-over performance of "Lloyd's Conquest of the Giants.

スペイン北部の音楽一家の家系に生まれ、スペインの音楽・芸術・科学アカデミー賞、最優秀アレンジャーにもノミネートされたピアニスト、アントニオ・ガマサ。ジャズをベースとしながらも、ロンドン、NY、スペインでの活動や声優の野沢雅子、羽佐間道夫、山寺宏一らとの声優口演の音楽を担当するなどの活動をしてきた旧橋壮がドラムに堀越彰、ベースにトッド・ニコルソンを迎えたメンバーでレコーディングを行ったのが本作。チック・コリア・エレクトリックバンドを想わせるアグレッシブな「エスパニョレアンド」、武満徹「AIR」、声優口演「ロイドの巨人征服」など幅広い内容となっている。
