Villeurban, was born in Nagoya, Japan. The "bookstore" boasts more than 350 stores nationwide. But there are no bestsellers or new publications. There are piles of books on billiard tables and fancy foreign cars. Mysterious miscellaneous goods are placed next to books of various genres collected by the manager's hobby, such as cars, jazz, outdoors, and movies. The unique store clerks, who happily display unintelligible pop-ups, no longer know if they are there for fun or for work. But it's the funniest of all! Sugishita Keizo, a self-proclaimed "empty" college student, has a shocking encounter at the Village Vanguard. A store overflowing with junk with no regard for profits, a manager who is always missing, and odd part-time workers who are far removed from the norm...but there was "everything" he needed in his life...This is a story of a young man and his friends, and the crazy and exciting days of their youth. Some of the music used in the film is different from that used in the TV broadcast.
