[Machine Translation] Singer-songwriter Yomi Morinaga ( Akimi Morinaga ), who has already demonstrated her mature talent since the beginning of her career in 2018, took 7 years to reach her first album. Her influences include Yumi Matsutoya (Arai), Donald Fagen, and Marcos Valli. While showing glimpses of such influences from new music, AOR, and Brazilian music, the band also plays neo-soul and the funk sounds of today with great gusto. The band is led by Yoshiro Atsumi, a member of "GUIRO" and support bassist for "cero"; Hirotomo Kawai, drummer for "Yama2"; and Tomoyuki Oda, keyboardist for "Super Mountaineering Club". The mastering by Moe Kazama (studio Chatri) is also brilliant. The mellow city soul M2 "Ai no Uchuugo" and the cute yet academic M4 "Ame no Shupur" are popular among fans. 2018年の活動当初よりすでに円熟した才能を発揮しながら、実に7年という歳月をかけてファーストアルバムに辿り着いた、シンガーソングライター・森永陽実 (もりながあきみ)。影響を受けた音楽家は、まさしくそこに在籍していた松任谷 (荒井)由実に始まり、ドナルド・フェイゲン、マルコス・ヴァーリなど。そのようなニューミュージック、AOR、ブラジル音楽からの影響を垣間見せつつ、ネオソウルや昨今のファンクなサウンドも意気揚々と鳴らす。さらにリスナーを驚かせるような、プログレッシブな展開も絶え間なく続く。その演奏を受け持つのは、「GUIRO」のメンバーであり「cero」のサポートベーシストとしても活躍する厚海義朗、「山二つ」のドラマーでもある河合宏知、「スーパー登山部」の鍵盤・小田智之など。注目の風間萌 (studio Chatri)によるマスタリングも冴え渡る。メロウなシティソウル・M2「愛の宇宙語」、可愛らしくもアカデミックなM4「雨のシュプール」などはファンのあいだでも人気。森永は「"自作自演"の系譜に連なる表現活動と、未来のためのアーカイブ」という傍観も忘れない。この現代を生きる人々、まだ見ぬ未来の人々へ、放つアルファ。
