[Machine Translation] aus, a leader in the Japanese electronica scene in the 1990s, has released a new album following the release of "Everis" in 2023. This is an album of images expanded melodically with piano and strings! The demo, which was originally created for a video work, has been recomposed into a chamber music piece featuring his own piano and Hisami Takahara's violin. The album combines the elegance and precision of post-classical music with the subtle textures of early 2000's electronics to create deep and vivid melodic lines. The sound collage of field recordings on the previous album "Everis" has been replaced by a clearer composition, leaving a soft but definite impression, like a landscape reflected on quiet water, and evoking the essence of the image albums that were once made in Japan. The album features guest vocals by Meg Baird, also known as a member of Espers, and Julianna Barwick, who is a close friend of the band. Henning Schmiedt, Danny Norbury, Glim, and Arisara Yokote continue their participation from the previous album.

ゼロ年代ジャパニーズ・エレクトロニカ・シーンをリードしたausが、2023年リリースした『Everis』に続く新作を発表。ピアノとストリングスによって、よりメロディックに拡張されたイメージ・アルバム!! 元々映像作品のために作っていたというデモを、自身のピアノと高原久実によるヴァイオリンを中心とした室内楽へと再構成。ポスト・クラシカルの持つ優美さ・精緻さと2000年代初期のエレクトロニクスの微細なテクスチャーを融合させ、深く鮮やかなメロディーラインが展開される。前作『Everis』にあったフィールドレコーディングによるサウンドコラージュから、より明確なコンポジションへと変化した本作は、静かな水面に映る風景のように、柔らかく、しかし確かな印象を残し、かつて国内で作られていたイメージアルバムの本質を呼び起こすよう。アルバムのゲストにはEspersのメンバーとしても知られるMeg Baird、親交深いJulianna Barwickがボーカルとしてフィーチャー。またHenning Schmiedt、Danny Norbury、Glim、横手ありさらが前作から引き続き参加。
