1997年8月から9月にかけて水戸芸術館美術センターが開催した「日本の夏1960-64 こうなったらやけくそだ!」展でコンサート・ホールATMが企画した「日本の実験音楽1960s演奏会」にて演奏された小杉武久の「キャッチ・ウェイヴ97」の音源。このコンサートでは、74年コンサート・シリーズ、ソロ・レコード(CBSソニー)に近いセッティングで当時の演奏を再現。75年にリリースされた「キャッチ・ウェイヴ」以降、33年ぶりとなる単独ディスク化!!
