Description

[Machine Translation] Inspired by Woodstock, a young man in Koriyama, Fukushima Prefecture, organized "One Step Festival," which took four years to complete with his friends and was produced by Yuya Uchida and Keiichi Ishizaka in August 1974. The festival was held in Koriyama, Fukushima Prefecture, in August 1974. A square for young people! And big dreams! The festival was Japan's first rock event, and was held from August 4 to 10, 1974, featuring 39 Japanese musicians, as well as Yoko Ono & Plastic Ono Super Band and Kris Kristofferson & Rita Coolidge from the U.S. This CD is the first Japanese rock event to be held in Koriyama, Fukushima Prefecture. This CD contains all the performances by Hiroshi Mayatsuya & Orange, who performed as the last performer on August 9, the fourth day of the event. The backing band Orange consists of Tatsuhiko Yamamoto, who made his big break as a singer/songwriter; Takeshi Yokouchi of Vodka Collins (who later joined Tensaw and Motoharu Sano's Heartland); Ryoji Asano, the younger brother of Takako Asano and the second generation drummer of Godaigo; and Haruo Ishii, who later became a tour member of Yumi Arai. The band performed 10 hit songs in total, including "Bang Bang Bang" and "Somehow, Somehow," with Rod Stewart-like mic stand performance in white suits, and also performed "Cynthia," a duet single with Takuro Yoshida, which had just been released. This is a great live album that allows the audience to fully enjoy the aesthetics of Hiroshi Kamayatsu as a rock artist.

Description in Japanese

1974 One Step Festival /
