On the other hand, the minimal/ambient numbers feature electronic sounds from Masahiko Ohkura's clarinet and Hirai's guitar/synthesizer. The resonance between "weight" and "quietness," "speed" and "blank space" is created, and the sound philosophy that the Yoichi Hirai Group has been pursuing for many years is vividly realized here.

アラン・ホールズワースを信奉する平井庸一と松井玲央のツイン・ギターと林栄一をはじめとする強力ホーン陣がジャズの自由とメタルの構築を融合させる。前作『Mondendal』でスタンダード・ナンバーと対になる構成で披露されたヘヴィ・メタル系とミニマル系、異なる系統のオリジナル曲が二つのユニットへと発展。Meshuggah、Slayer、Sunn O))) から影響されたメタル系ナンバーではともにアラン・ホールズワースを信奉する平井庸一と松井玲央のツインギターと、日本のジャズを牽引してきた巨匠・林栄一と本作のプロデューサーも兼ねる山田光のアルトサックス、気鋭のトランペッター石川広行のホーン陣が炸裂。一方ミニマル/アンビエント系ナンバーでは、大藏雅彦のクラリネットと平井のギター・シンセサイザーによる電子音を中心に一変した曲想が展開される。「重さ」と「静けさ」、「速度」と「余白」が共鳴を生みだし、平井庸一グループが長年追求してきた音の理念がここに鮮烈に結実している。
