Past works include "Uzumi" (Aketazdisc) and "New Uzumi " Alchemist" (Chizoko Records), and now they have created "Electric Uzumi " Yellow Vision" as a trio with long-time collaborator Ake Shoomy and up-and-coming young drummer Tetsuro Fujimaki. 1974年頃にデビュー、1987年頃にはすでにエフェクターでのフリーな実験的Soloを始めていたギタリスト加藤崇之による、フリーな演奏への挑戦から音楽の世界を広げていくプロジェクト「渦」。静寂、混沌、狂気、歓喜など、あらゆる要素を取り入れて、瞬間瞬間に生まれる様々な世界を表現すべく活動を続け、「渦」というユニット名で活動を始めてから既に30年近くが経つ。過去の作品としては「渦」(アケタズディスク)、「ニュー渦"アルケミスト"」(地底レコード)があり、今回、長年に渡って共演を続けるアーティスト宅 Shoomy 朱美、気鋭の若手ドラマー藤巻鉄郎とのトリオで「エレクトリック渦"イエロービジョン"」を制作。渦シリーズとしては最終章と位置づけられた作品が満を持して放たれます。全4曲収録。
