Trio Edge

[Machine Translation] Takeharu Hayakawa b ( HAYAKAWA, KIKI BAND, Reiran, ex. Seikatsu Kaikoikai, DUB, etc.) and Masataka Fujikake ds ( BIRGIT, Shibusashirakazu, etc.) are the core members of Edge, which has been recording a series of sessions featuring various members. Following the previous album, "quartet edge", this time Edge has invited the guitarist Takayuki Kato, who is a prodigy in his own right, to join the trio on this album, "trio edge". The trio previously released a live album (2009) on a limited basis, but there have been many requests for a reissue, and this time the trio is back with an even stronger new album. This is an intense live recording from Stormy Monday in Yokohama, and is a crazy and majestic piece that bursts with the roar of the genius Takayuki Kato, who easily transcends the concept of the guitar as a musical instrument, on the explosive foundation rock of Hayakawa & Fujikake. Jazz, rock, funk, ambience, experimental...this is a new masterpiece of the edge series.

と藤掛正隆 ds(BIRGIT, 渋さ知らズ, etc.)
