デビュー25周年。通算16枚目のソロアルバムになる今作は、四半世紀にわたり"LOVE SONG"を届けるヴォーカリスト鈴木雅之だから歌うことの出来るヴィンテージ感をコンセプトに制作。先行シングル「君を抱いて眠りたい」、「その愛のもとに(With Your Love)」は勿論のこと、CHARによる楽曲提供曲、ゴスペラーズ安岡・黒沢コンビ曲、さらに村上提供曲、さらには「ロンリーチャップリン」以来となる鈴木聖美とのデュエット曲を角松敏生が書き下ろし、さらには「ランナウェイ」、「街角トワイライト」、「め組のひと」等、グループ時代に欠かすことの出来なかった井上大輔氏の遺作を桑野信義、佐藤善雄のラッツメンバーが共に歌い上げている。
