The Beatles' historic Shea Stadium concert, the largest outdoor concert of its time, appears as an expanded 2 CD set in a standard plastic case edition. Long familiar to older fans, the audio from the Shea Stadium performance (then written as Shear Stadium) was heavily corrected through studio rerecording and overdubbing for later broadcast. The 2017 release "SHAE STADIUM" (EGSH-0012) from Eternal Grooves included the uncorrected, real live audio to great acclaim, and this expanded edition adds the broadcast original audio sources of the time and the opening act live recordings. Includes detailed Japanese liner notes covering the circumstances, episodes, and setlist of the time.
