[Machine Translation] Following their appearance at Fuji Rock in 2009, the Melvins released their latest live album, which features songs from "A Senile Animal" and "Nude with Boots," which they have been performing since they became a twin-drum quartet. The album features songs from "A Senile Animal" and "Nude with Boots," which were recorded by Toshi Kasai, a producer/recording engineer in the U.S. who can now be called the fifth member of the Melvins. The raw sound production captures the Melvins' live performance at its most terrifying level. For this show, the band chose "Eye Flies" from their first album "Gluey PorchTreatment" and "Boris" from the eternal "God" album "Bullhead". 2009年のフジロック参戦に引き続き、ホール・クラスのライヴとしては実に12年振りの来日公演を実現させながら、大震災によって東京公演を止む無くキャンセルした御大メルヴィンズが最新ライヴ・アルバムをリリース。ツイン・ドラムの4人編成になって以降の『A Senile Animal』『ヌード・ウィズ・ブーツ』からの楽曲を中心に選曲されたライヴを、もはやメルヴィンズ第5のメンバーと呼んでも差し支えない在米プロデューサー/レコーディング・エンジニアのトシ・カサイ氏が収録。ロウなサウンド・プロダクションはあの恐ろしいまでのレベルで繰り広げられるメルヴィンズのライヴを余すところなく捉えている。特別企画ライヴ以外は常に最新作を中心にセットリストを組みながら、必殺の名曲も組み込むのがメルヴィンズ流。本作では1stアルバム『Gluey PorchTreatment』から"Eye Flies"を、永遠の"神"盤『Bullhead』から"Boris"を選曲。古くからのファンも新規ファンも熱狂する強烈過ぎるセットリスト。
