Cool World

Formed in Oklahoma City, US in 2019, they attracted attention with a large number of EPs and limited releases, as well as live performances charged with madness. While inheriting the noise rock style of predecessors such as Big Black and The Jesus Lizard, they add elements of industrial and post-punk, delivering a heavy and sludgy sound. Capturing anxiety and fear about the end of the world, and with a style that does not hide their political stance, they strike out a soundtrack for the confused modern age from the darkest depths of a troubled America. "Cool World" is their second album released in 2024. While following the direction of their first album, it also presents a style reminiscent of 1990s nu metal, and while rapidly expanding their sales, it was also selected for many year-end best lists that year.
