Translation Lost

[Machine Translation] Inspired by the suspense classic "Elevator to the Death Row" by French film master Louis Malle, Paris-based producer Dela's first album in four years, "Translation Lost" is a collection of songs by a variety of artists. While his previous album, "Change of Atmosphere", had featured a featured artist for the entire album, this time, half of the tracks are instrumental, and the rap tracks feature the young talents of Kansas-based Reach and Californian Blu, as well as fresh talent from France, such as the young French producer, Jacques Bourdieu. The artists featured on the rap songs are Kansas-based Reach, Californian young phenom Blu, fresh French talent Sowlie, and Long Island rapper Kemizt, all of whom have been deeply involved in Dela's projects since the last album, and the album expresses Dela's sensibilities and themes even more strongly than the previous album. The CD and the 7-inch, of which only 500 copies will be released worldwide, will be remixed by DJ Spinna, a legend in the Hip Hop and House music circles, and you can feel Dela's challenge to the next level in this album. The album is like a French movie, expressing hope and aspiration amidst melancholy and melancholy.

フランス映画界の巨匠「ルイ・マル」によるサスペンスの金字塔「死刑台のエレベーター」にインスピレーションされて制作されたパリ在住のプロデューサーDela の4 年ぶりとなるアルバム「Translation Lost」。前作の「チェンジオブアトモスフェアー」では全編にわたりフューチャリングアーティストが参加していたが、今回は半分をインストゥルメンタルが占めラップ曲にフィーチャーされているアーティストはカンザスをベースに活躍するReach、Californian の若き奇才Blu、フランスのフレッシュなタレントであるSowlie、ロングアイランド出身のラッパーであるKemizt と前回からDela のプロジェクトに深く関わりを持つアーティストであり前作よりさらにDela の持つ感性とテーマが色濃く表現されたアルバムに仕上がっている。さらにCD と世界限定500 枚のみのリリースとなる7 インチにはHip Hop、House ミュージック会のレジェンドであるDJ Spinna がリミキサーで参加する等、Dela のネクストレベルへの挑戦が感じる事が出来るアルバムである。憂鬱と哀愁の中に見れる希望と熱望を上手く表現したさながらフランス映画の様な一枚！
