[生誕80周年特別企画 美空ひばり時代劇傑作選 第2弾] 美空ひばりが適役中の適役、旅の花形役者を演じれば、東千代之介が颯爽と二枚目剣士に扮し、大友柳太朗が豪快に剣を振るう! 優艶華麗な恋と歌と剣の絵巻が展開する豪華絢爛時代劇。――武州烏山の城下町では、女歌舞伎・中村華扇一座が大人気。一座の花形・小春は、姿よし歌よし舞よしの三拍子揃った人気役者。たまたま舞台で小春が手にした舞扇。そしてなぜかこれを狙って出没する武士団。この天女の扇は烏山潘の浮沈を握る大事な品。何者かの手で盗まれた扇を追って、江戸詰の烏山潘士・絵島源之丞が武州に到着。扇の行方を探す道中にめぐり会った源之丞と小春はいつしか想いを寄せ合う仲に。扇は人の手から手へと思いも寄らぬ闇から闇へ。遂に二人は烏山潘乗っ取りを企む悪家老一味と対決。剣と剣の戦いに挑んでいく。
