"容疑者逮捕"から始まる新感覚ミステリー。――科学捜査が進歩した現在、過去に逮捕した犯人が最新のDNA鑑定により無実が証明されるといった事例が相次ぎ、警察の捜査、取り調べ手法に疑問のまなざしが向けられることが増えている。そこで設けられたのが、警視庁捜査一課「検証捜査係」である。限られた時間の中で事件を再検証し、現場の捜査官の暴走による冤罪を未然に防ぐという重要な任務を与えられている。ところが、実際は送致書(捜査報告書)の誤字脱字を直して『検証済』のハンコを押すだけのお役所仕事。「検証捜査係」とは、警察が自分たちの公正さを世間にアピールするために作った名ばかりの係なのである。そんな係を束ねる管理官として、新海晶(観月ありさ)が配属される。所轄署の署長を務めていた晶はある事件がきっかけで出世のレールをはずれたキャリア警察官。晶はお役所仕事から脱却、本気で『検証捜査』を開始する。送致書の中の小さな疑問から新事実をみつけだし、解決したはずの事件をひっくり返してしまう。そんな晶の姿は、検証捜査係のメンバーの眠っていた意識を少しずつ変えていく。例えそれが悲劇をもたらす事実だとしても、人間の醜悪な心をさらけ出すものだとしても、彼女たちは追い続ける。今までの答えを覆す、もうひとつの答えを。なぜならそれが、正しい答え(アンサー)だから。2012年4月～6月テレビ朝日系列にて放送。全9話収録。
