葦原大介の描く『ワールドトリガー』の、舞台化第3弾! 原作は、近界民 (ネイバー) と呼ばれる異世界からの侵略者と戦う組織を描いたSFアクション漫画作品。2013年から「週刊少年ジャンプ」(集英社刊)にて連載を開始し、2018年からは「ジャンプSQ.」(集英社刊)へと発表の場を移して大好評掲載中。2021年11月『ワールドトリガ― the Stage』 第1弾を、2022年8月に第2弾となる「大規模侵攻編」を上演。役者の身体能力を駆使したダンサブルなパフォーマンスと、リズミカルな音楽を取り入れた新たな表現方法フィジカライブ (Physical×Live performance) を掲げ、『ワールドトリガー』の世界を舞台上に描き出した。第3弾となる今作は、チームバトルの真骨頂であるB級ランク戦を上演。さらに躍進する『ワーステ』に期待が高まる。――「近界民 (ネイバー)」と呼ばれる侵略者に襲撃された三門市。日々の平和を界境防衛機関「ボーダー」によって守られていたが、第二次大規模侵攻が勃発!撃退するものの多数の隊員が攫われる結果に。この街のボーダー隊員・三雲 修は、近界民の空閑遊真、幼馴染の雨取千佳と共に、奪われた仲間を取り戻すため近界遠征部隊入りを目指して動き始めた。玉狛第2 (三雲隊) を結成した修たちは、A級昇格の為にランク戦へと挑む。はたして・・・21部隊が集う戦いの中で、玉狛第2は勝利を掴めるのか・・・!?
