30歳前後の男女が夢に向かって悪戦苦闘するなかで同じように恋愛にも試行錯誤する。そんな男女の出会いから別れまでを描いた本作は、奇才・いまおかしんじ監督が、監督自身の若い頃のほろ苦い経験を投影させた渾身の一作。主演の百合子役はグラビアで活躍する傍ら2021年『農家の嫁は、取扱注意!』で鮮烈映画デビューを飾ったフミカ。シンジ役の小林優斗は10代よりキャリアをスタートさせた若手実力派俳優。脇に永岡佑、浜田学、大谷麻衣、しじみなど魅力的な面々が揃った。――カメラアシスタントの百合子(28)と売れない大道芸人シンジ(32)は海辺の町で偶然出会い、意気投合する。金がないシンジは百合子の部屋に居候し、いつしか同棲生活が始まった。互いの夢を応援しあう二人だったが、百合子は師事していたカメラマンにパワハラされたり、シンジは先輩芸人に泣きつかれ借金してまで金を貸してしまったり、いつも何かうまくいかない。二人の関係がぎくしゃくし始めたころ、百合子は念願の写真展開催にこぎつける。個展会場に遅れて到着したシンジが目にしたのは懐かしい出会ったばかりの頃の二人の写真だった・・・。
