落ちこぼれロッカーと飛び級天才少女の2人が"宇宙創生"という壮大なテーマに挑んでいく姿を描いた、機本伸司原作のSFラブコメディ! 主演は市原隼人と谷村美月。双子の弟・喜一が突然海外旅行に行ってしまい、代わりに素粒子物理学のゼミに出席した基一。代返するだけのつもりが、担当教授から不登校のホミズサラカをゼミに連れてくるという難題を課せられてしまう。あまりの天才ゆえに学校にも興味が持てず孤独に生きるサラカ。勝算もないまま彼女のもとを訪れた基一だったが、難しい話をするサラカの前で彼がふと口走った"宇宙をつくることはできるのか?"というあまりにも壮大で素朴な疑問が彼女の心を捉えてしまう。翌日、ゼミに現われたサラカは、基一を従えて"宇宙創生"を立証するための研究に乗り出すが――。ピクチャーレーベル仕様。
