新鮮な設定とインパクトのあるビジュアル、キャスト陣のコミカルなアドリブで中毒者が続出した舞台「八王子ゾンビーズ」。約2万3000人の動員を記録し、大盛況となった作品を、舞台に引き続き、鈴木おさむにが映画化! 圧倒的なパフォーマンス力を誇る、三代目J SOUL BROTHERSの山下健二郎が僧侶姿に、そして昨今熱狂的なファン続出の"2.5次元"で活躍しているイケメン俳優たちがゾンビとなって勢揃い。ボケて、笑って、ケンカして、自由すぎるゾンビたちが、何でもアリの大騒ぎ! 果たしてゾンビーズたちは成仏できるのか!? ――オーディションに落ち続け、ダンサーになる夢を諦めた羽吹(山下健二郎)は、"自分探し"のために八王子の山奥にある「希望寺」で修業体験をすることに。この寺には「夜になったら、裏手にある廃寺には行ってはならない」という大事なルールと、それにまつわる怪しげな噂があった。「絶対に近づくな。特に満月の夜には・・・。」と忠告された羽吹だったが、踊りたい気持ちを捨てきれず、満月の夜に廃寺でダンスの練習を始める。そんな羽吹の前に、うめき声と共に8人のイケメンゾンビ集団"八王子ゾンビーズ"が現れた!満月に向かってダンスをすることで成仏ができるという彼らに頼まれ、ダンスを教えることになった羽吹。しかし、彼らが成仏できない理由には、この寺の住職・孔明(松岡充)と八王子市長・大池(RIKACO)深い思惑が隠されていた!?
