[Machine Translation] This unique police drama is adapted from a novel by Konno Satoshi, who is highly regarded as an up-and-coming writer of police novels, in WOWOW's Drama W series of excellent entertainment films. Shimazaki ( Okuda Eiji ), a lieutenant in the Investigation Section 2 of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, is having trouble wrapping his head around a case. This is because his eldest son, Jotaro (Okumura Tomofumi), has leaked inside information about the alleged window dressing at Hiyoriwa Bank to Tomioka (Uda Takaki), a member of Hiyoriwa Bank and an alumnus of the Judo Club. Shimazaki decides to betray the organization in order to protect Jotaro, but Tomioka is killed by someone during the investigation. Shimazaki is relieved that his secret is no longer leaked, but suddenly his second son, Shinji (Kora Kengo), emerges as a suspect in the murder case. Shimazaki is rebellious against his father, who is a man of strict discipline and strictness, and has dropped out of high school to live off the grid. Is Shinji really the murderer of Tomioka?

WOWOWが優れたエンターテイメント作品を連打するドラマW枠で、"警察小説の気鋭"として高い評価を得る今野敏原作の小説を映像化した、異色警察ドラマ。警視庁捜査二課に勤める警部補、島崎(奥田瑛二)は頭を悩ませていた。現在調査中の日和銀行の粉飾決算疑惑の内偵情報を、自分の長男・丈太郎(奥村知史)が、日和銀行員で柔道部のOBでもある富岡(ウダタカキ)に漏らしてしまったからだ。丈太郎を守るため、組織を裏切る決意をする島崎だったが、その富岡が捜査中に何者かによって殺されてしまう。秘密が漏れる心配がなくなり安堵した島崎だったが、その殺人事件の容疑者として、自分の次男・真次(高良健吾)が突如捜査線上に浮上する。何もかも専制的で、規律、けじめ、厳しさばかりを追求する父親・島崎に反発し、今では高校も中退してブラブラしている真次ではあったが、まさか息子が人殺しを犯すとはにわかに信じられない島崎は、一人で真次の動向を調査しはじめる。果たして富岡殺しの真犯人は真次なのか?
