This is a remake, or retelling of Gaiking. As a fan of the original Gaiking, I was highly disappointed. The animation was so so. At times it looked good, while at others points looked like it was drawn by a child. The storyline didn't keep me hooked either. Been there, done that. If you have never seen Gaiking, watch the original.
