TOEI VIDEO NEW CINEMA FACTORY 第1回製作作品。農業高校を舞台に、今を生きる女子高生が躍動する〈畜産系青春映画〉! 監督・脚本を務めるのは、異色の経歴を持つオールドルーキー・北村美幸。主人公・瑠璃を演じるのは、「青天を衝け」(21/NHK)、『20歳のソウル』(22)など話題作に出演し、今後の活躍が期待される池田朱那。そのクラスメイト役には映画、ドラマ、舞台など、それぞれで活躍する片田陽依、白石優愛、大熊杏優が出演。瑠璃に一目惚れする高校生のマサル役には注目の若手俳優・青山凱。さらに瑠璃が密かに想いを寄せる森先生役に、『偶然と想像』(21)、『愛なのに』(22)の中島歩が扮して脇を固める。――瑠璃(池田朱那)は農業高校で畜産を学ぶ二年生。母ひとり子ひとりの家庭で育った瑠璃は動物の世話で忙しい学校生活と家計を助けるためのアルバイトを両立させながら、モモ (片田陽依)、彩菜 (白石優愛)、くるみ (大熊杏優) らクラスメイトと共に家畜たちから「命をいただく」という尊さを学んでいる。ある日、瑠璃はモモと近隣の高校の文化祭へ遊びに行き、同い年のマサル (青山凱) を紹介される。瑠璃に一目惚れしたマサルは後日猛アタックをかけるが、農業高校教師の森 (中島歩) に想いを寄せている瑠璃はそっけない。森への情熱を募らせた瑠璃はある日、森の家へ押しかけて強引に思いを伝えようとするが・・・。
